Singer and guitarist\, she is popular for her writing\, and loved for her stagecraft\, but it’s her breadth of passion for the broader ‘folk’ genre which makes her unusual in Australia. A songwriter with a guitar\, Connell has an edge more reminiscent of Margaret Roadknight or Norma Waterson than of Kate Bush or Joni Mitchell. \n  \nKhristian Mizzi \nKhristian Mizzi\, awarded the 2021 Australian Folk Alliance ‘Solo Artist of the Year\,’ is widely recognised as one of the country’s finest folk voices. With a vocal delivery that’s truly unforgettable\, Mizzi weaves beauty and honesty into his lyrics. His distinctive picking style and emotive storytelling have earned him a reputation for deeply intimate solo performances. \nTogether they are captivating and definitely not to be missed.

Together they form….. to bring you a collection of moving songs that reflect social\, personal and environmental themes delivered through story-telling\, ballads and upbeat songs.\n\n \nBlue Windows\nMelbourne-based  Blue Windows move effortlessly between Folk\, Country\, and Americana\, drawing inspiration from artists like The Waifs\, Neil Young\, and James Taylor. Their distinctive vocals\, layered instrumentation\, and touch of whimsy\, support songs that explore the complexity of human resilience\, change\, and connection.\n\nFinalists in multiple songwriting awards\, Blue Windows are known for thoughtful lyrics and heartfelt melodies that balance poignancy with playfulness. The duo’s sound draws comparisons to the sibling harmonies of First Aid Kit and The Staves\, combining folk traditions with warm\, reflective melodies reminiscent of the vast\ncountry sky. \nSince their debut in 2019\, Oceanique has become a rising act in the Australian folk music scene. Highlights include winning Port Fairy Folk Festival’s ‘Emerging Artist of the Year’\n(2024) and Folk Alliance Australia’s ‘Youth Artist of the Year’ (2022). For this show Jordan Scotney is joining the coalition\, to add some cello goodness.\n\nThe trio has a strong focus on intricate 3-part vocal harmonies\, which\, together with Max’s National Resonator slide guitar\, Annie’s crisp fingerpicking banjo style and Geoff’s mellow double bass\, produce an original and enthralling sound.\n\nThey have received enthusiastic responses from audiences in Australia\, Nashville and Berlin\, who love their energy and passion.\n\nWith Max’s music and Annie’s lyrics\, Moonshine Coalition write songs with inspiration from Australia’s past\, blended with events from their own lives. They recently gained the highly coveted support slot to the Indigo Girls on their Australian tour which has […]  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmaline Delapaix. \n\n\n\nEmaline Delapaix is a rural Northern England based Australian singer-songwriter who writes ethereal and folky songs on acoustic guitar\, piano\, celtic harp\, and other bowed instruments. Her biggest musical influences include Kate Bush\, Tori Amos\, Joni Mitchell\, The Finn Brothers and many Nordic artists. She also plays a handful of Nordic and Western European traditional songs exploring her ancestry. \n\n\n\nIn March 2026\, Emaline will be returning to Australia to visit the towns and cities she grew up in\, reconnecting to her family roots by playing shows in places that her ancestors came from\, writing songs about their stories from the road.
